I’m Randy Salazar — a compliance analyst turned UX designer with over a decade of experience in the financial industry. My background in quality assurance and regulatory risk taught me how to analyze complex systems, uncover pain points, and design processes that make people’s work simpler and clearer.

Guided by values of creativity, adaptability, and integrity, I approach design as both problem-solving and relationship-building. My experience in values-based leadership reinforced that empathy and transparency aren’t just soft skills — they’re the foundation of trust in any product or team.

I recently earned my Bachelor of Science in User Experience Design from Western Governors University, where I learned to apply human-centered design principles to digital and operational challenges. Whether I’m streamlining a compliance workflow or rethinking a mobile banking interface, I focus on clarity, usability, and trust.

Outside of work, I’m fueled by creativity — from sketching and car projects to weekend soccer. I believe design is about empathy and continuous improvement, both in teams and in the experiences we create.
